Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Dinanoir AI ("Dinanoir AI", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores and shares personal data when you use the Dinanoir AI mobile and web application (the "App"), which provides AI tools for content creators and small businesses. It applies to users in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area and worldwide.

1. Who we are (data controller)

Dinanoir AI is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at privacy@dinanoir.ai.

2. Personal data we collect

We only collect data needed to run the App:

  • Account & login data — your email address and an authentication identifier, created when you sign up with email and password or with Google Sign-In. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are stored by it in hashed form; we never see your password. If you sign in with Google we receive your email address and basic profile identifiers from Google, not your Google password.
  • Content you provide to AI tools — the prompts, text, topics, languages and settings you enter into any tool or the Growth AI chat.
  • AI-generated content — the outputs produced by the tools, saved to your account so they appear in your Library, plus your chat message history.
  • Planner data — post titles, content and notes you schedule in the Planner.
  • Subscription data — subscription status, plan/product identifier, period end date and the store or processor reference (Stripe or Google Play). We never receive or store your card number or Google Play payment details.
  • Product analytics — in-app events such as paywall views, upgrade actions, tool usage counts and the optional "why are you upgrading?" reason you may select. These events are stored in our own database and linked to your account identifier.
  • Technical data — platform (Android or web), app version, selected interface language, and error/diagnostic logs generated when something fails.

We do not collect your contacts, precise location, photos or device identifiers for advertising, and we do not use the App to track you across other apps or websites.

3. How we use your data

  • To create and maintain your account and keep you signed in.
  • To generate AI results and save them to your Library, chat and Planner.
  • To manage your free trial, subscription and premium access.
  • To prevent abuse and enforce fair use of the AI features.
  • To fix bugs, monitor errors and improve the App.
  • To send service messages such as password reset or email confirmation.

4. AI tool usage and your content

When you use a tool or the chat, your prompt (and, where relevant, the tool settings and recent conversation) is sent to a third-party AI model provider through an AI gateway so that a response can be generated. Your prompts are transmitted for the sole purpose of producing your result. The generated output and your prompt inputs are stored in your account so you can find them later in your Library or chat history.

You are responsible for the content you enter. Please do not enter sensitive personal data (such as health, financial or identity document details) about yourself or others into AI prompts. AI outputs may be inaccurate and should be reviewed before use.

5. Subscriptions and payments

The App offers a 2-day free trial followed by a paid subscription. On the web, subscriptions are processed by Stripe. On Android, subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing. Payment details are entered with, and handled entirely by, those providers under their own privacy policies. We receive only the subscription state (active, cancelled, expired, renewal date and product identifier) needed to unlock premium features, including notifications from Google Play about changes to your subscription.

6. Third-party service providers

  • Supabase (via Lovable Cloud) — authentication, database and backend hosting for your account, content, planner and analytics events.
  • Google Sign-In — optional login method.
  • Google Play Billing — Android subscription processing and subscription status notifications.
  • Stripe — web subscription processing.
  • AI model providers (accessed through an AI gateway) — to generate responses from your prompts.
  • Hosting and error reporting — our hosting platform processes requests and error diagnostics needed to keep the App running.

These providers act as processors or independent controllers for their own services. We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with advertising networks.

7. Cookies, local storage and analytics

We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. The App stores a limited amount of data on your device (browser local storage or the app's own storage) to keep you signed in, remember your chosen interface language, and remember interface preferences such as favourite tools. Analytics are first-party only: usage events are recorded in our own database, as described in section 2, and are not shared with advertising platforms.

8. Legal bases (UK GDPR / EU GDPR)

  • Contract — creating your account, generating and storing your content, and providing your subscription.
  • Legitimate interests — product improvement, first-party analytics, security and abuse prevention.
  • Legal obligation — keeping transaction records for tax and accounting.
  • Consent — where we ask for it, for example optional communications; you can withdraw consent at any time.

9. Data retention

Account data, generated content, chat history and planner entries are kept for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, this data is deleted from our production database. Analytics events and subscription/transaction records may be retained for a limited period after deletion where needed for security, fraud prevention or legal and accounting obligations (typically up to 6–7 years for transaction records). Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis.

10. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and stored with our backend provider, which applies encryption at rest and access controls. Access to your content in the database is restricted to your own account through row-level access rules, and administrative access is limited to authorised personnel. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

11. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside the UK and the EEA, including in the United States. Where that happens, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

12. Your privacy rights

If you are in the UK or EEA you have the right to: access your data; correct inaccurate data; delete your data; restrict or object to certain processing; data portability; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), or your local authority in the EEA. Residents of other regions may have similar rights.

To exercise any right, email privacy@dinanoir.ai. We respond within one month.

13. Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account directly in the App: open Profile → Danger zone → Delete my account and confirm. This permanently deletes your account together with your saved generations, chat history and planner entries, subject to the limited retention described in section 9. Deleting the app from your device does not delete your account.

Cancelling a subscription is separate: cancel in the Google Play Store (Android) or via the billing portal (web). If you cannot access the App, email privacy@dinanoir.ai from your registered address and we will delete your account for you.

14. Children's privacy

Dinanoir AI is not intended for children. You must be at least 16 years old (or 13 where permitted by local law with parental consent) to use the App. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and material changes will be highlighted in the App where appropriate.
